Image description In the following I will show you how to perform a system restore. Being able to restore your system will prove very useful in your computer use. It happens all too often, you install a program or device on your computer and all of a sudden problems pop up everywhere? Or it works fine in the beginning but in weeks to come your computer starts to behave abnormally?

If you come across these problems being able to restore your system may save you a lot of money. System restore simply means that you can restore your computer to an earlier time, such as one when the problems weren’t existent.

To start off you need to get to system restore by clicking on start and all programs, accessories then go to system tools and then click on system restore.

This will open up system restore, now you have a couple of choices, you can create a new system restore point or you can put a tick beside restore my computer to an earlier time if there isn’t a tick already beside it. Please proceed with the second option.

Click next at the bottom of the screen.

To have your computer running properly again you have to reset your computer back to a time you know it was running normally. This may be a few weeks or a few days.

Try not to enter a date too far back. This is because you may have recently installed other programs, if the date is set before these programs were installed you will have to install them again. Be sure never to go back anymore then a month a few weeks or even days will be fine.

Click a date in the previous week and select next.

Click next again to restore your computer to the selected date.
